The School District of Oconee County Human Resource Department is tasked with recruiting, hiring and retaining the most motivated, highly qualified person for each position, inspiring them to accomplish excellence, and serving those who work within our district.  The Human Resource team oversees the recruitment and hiring process, new teacher induction program, substitute training,  coordination of employee benefits, and personnel support.

  • While most teaching positions are hired in the spring and summer, the district hires other positions throughout the school year.  Please visit our Employment page for more information.

  • Sexual Harassment and Inappropriate Conduct of a Sexual Nature

    Policy GBAA and this administrative rule will be fully referenced in employee handbooks and/or a copy will be provided to each employee. It will also be available on the district's website, in each school's media center and in the district office.

    All employees will be informed about the nature of sexual harassment and inappropriate conduct of a sexual nature, the procedures for registering a complaint and the possible redress which is available.
