The Public Information Office of the School District of Oconee County serves as the main point of contact for district communication and public information as well as serving as a liaison with the community and news media. The purpose of the office is to ensure the timely communication of district news to students, families and the entire community.

If you would like to visit a school or the district office, please contact Jennifer Dodd. Please be prepared to outline the nature of your request, which school or office you would like to visit, and a few dates and times that work with your schedule.

Some students choose not to be photographed. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) allows students and parents to opt out of the release of certain information about students, including photographs. The School District of Oconee County operates in compliance with this law. Before any photographs or video of students are taken, verification must be obtained from a school administrator.
