Half Day PIP - Students will take home a learning packet with checklists/choice boards. Students will need guidance from the parent to complete the activity.  (30 minutes total)

Full Day PIP, 4K & 5K - Students will take home a learning packet with checklists/choice boards. Students will need guidance from the parent to complete the activities. (30 minutes for math & 30 minutes for ELA; 1 hour total)

1st & 2nd grades - 30 minutes/core content area lesson (2 hours total)

3rd - 5th grades - 45 minutes/core content area lesson (3 hours total)

Middle School - 45 minutes/core content area lesson (3 hours total)

• If a student is participating in a high school credit-bearing elective course (computer science or Spanish) they will have an additional 30 minute eLearning lesson, which will change their total amount of instruction time. For example,  if the student is taking both courses their total instructional time will be 4 hours.

High School - 60 minutes/course (4 hours total)

Self-contained Special Education - The amount of service can align with the elementary general education or the special education teacher and parent can determine if a different amount of service is needed.

 

PIP and 4K - Students will receive a packet quarterly for eLearning that should stay in their take home folder. 

Elementary & Middle School  - Assignments and videos will be posted in Google Classroom  as soon as possible, but no later than 10:00am the morning of the inclement weather.

High School  - Assignments and videos will be posted in Canvas as soon as possible, but no later than 10:00am the morning of the inclement weather.

All students will have up to 5 days upon returning to school to complete assignments.

Students will be marked present if their eLearning assignment(s) are submitted by the end of the five day period upon returning to school. Those students who do not complete their eLearning assignment(s) by the end of the 5th day back at school will be marked absent. Learning in the classroom will continue to progress after the eLearning day(s). Therefore, it is important that students complete the work as soon as possible.

Students will receive grades for the completed eLearning assignments. They will be expected to complete assignments within 5 days of returning to school to receive full credit. Upon the sixth day of returning from inclement weather, teachers can deduct 10% of the grade.

The information below provides specific time frames in which students can expect availability from their teacher(s), receiving live instruction, support of learning and/or a Q&A time. Attendance will not be taken; attendance for the day will be associated with the completion of tasks and assignments.
