A team from the Hamilton Career & Technology Center's Automotive Technology program took 2nd place at the NASCAR Technical Institute's Top Tech Challenge held in Mooresville, NC on February 8, 2020.  The challenge tested automotive knowledge and diagnostic ability.  The two-man team of Jason Evans, a West-Oak High School senior, and Dominic Sanford, a Seneca High School senior, competed against top automotive teams from across four states.  Each student won a $7,500 scholarship to Universal Technical Institute to further their education.  In addition, a collection of Snap-On tools and a rolling tool cart were awarded to the school.

Jeremy Davis, HCTC Automotive Technology instructor, commented, "I'm so proud of Jason and Dominic.  They are very talented and both have a very bright future in the automotive world."

Chad Lusk, HCTC Director, commented, "We are very proud of Mr. Davis's Automotive Technology Program and his award-winning students.  Congratulations to Mr. Davis, Jason and Dominic.  It's nice to see their hard work pay off.  We can't wait to see what the future holds for these exceptional Career and Technology students."
