Musical talent can be partly attributed to innate talent, but is also dependent on a love of music, good instruction and practice, practice, practice. All of these traits have made the difference for two Seneca Middle School siblings.

Brother and sister Luke and Lauren Bleuel were recently accepted into the All-Region Orchestra for Region Two, which includes Anderson, Greenville, Pickens and Oconee counties. They are the only two Seneca Middle School students participating in the elite group this year.

Lauren’s audition earned her as 4th chair, 1st violin while Luke placed 10th chair, 1st violin. Both siblings take private lessons from Alice Skaar and are part of the Seneca Middle School Orchestra program directed by David Warlick.

The Region Two All-Region Orchestra Clinic and Concert will take place November 11-12 at Anderson University.
