A. The foundation is designed to support educational excellence over and above local tax support. It provides an easy mechanism for those who want to strengthen quality public education in Oconee County.

A. Your tax dollars go not only to support the basic education process in Oconee County but also to pay the cost of Federal and State programs which are mandated by these outside agencies. Your contribution to the Education Foundation helps to keep our students on the "cutting edge" of current technology and vocational/educational demands of the marketplace.
